Understanding Your Circuitry: Crown

THE CROWN: a pressure center (opposite the root center) that governs how we receive inspiration and is also the seat of the pineal gland.

If this center is DEFINED for you, you will have the top triangle colored in yellow; if it is UNDEFINED you will have this top triangle white, with either black or red lines coming off of it. If it is completely OPEN, it will be white with no lines (gates) coming off of it.

Characteristics of the Defined Crown:

  • Always creating inspiration, internally
  • Tend to be eternally curious about how and why things work the way they do
    • Remember to rely on your strategy and authority to make decisions!
  • The way this energy expresses will be influenced by the CHANNELS and GATES defined from this center:

Channels of the Crown:

  • Abstraction, 47-64:
    • This is the energy of processing past experience in order to make sense out of it; to extract the wisdom out of it. It often takes time and a willingness to sit with the uncertainty at first to arrive at clarity later on.
  • Awareness, 24-61:
    • This is mentally exploring something in order to get to the bottom of it, to its essence or truth.
  • Logic, 4-63:
    • You are able to take complex and abstract concepts and follow the process that brings logic to them. You are able to see how the pieces might fit together and explore that.

Gates of the Crown:

  • Confusion (64): this is the energy of creative downloads that arise spontaneously. It is a very visual gate and processes better when it can see everything in front of it. There is a trust and surrender to divine timing that is required for this energy to exist in its highest expression.
  • Doubt (63): this is the energy of needing to know more before making a decision; not accepting things at face value. It demands logic and reason to back up opinions, including your own! Give yourself permission to house the information internally until you feel like you have enough data to share.
  • Mystery (61): there is an innate sense of knowingness here, without having a logical reason for knowing what you know. Just know that your wisdom is received best when it is invited in first. Allow yourself to ponder things without needing to know why or how it will be useful.

Characteristics of the Undefined Crown:

  • Have a variable relationship with inspiration
  • Get inspired by things external to you
  • Pick up on the inspirational energy of those with defined crowns and amplify it
  • May feel pressure to act on inspiration
    • Remember to rely on strategy/authority to choose which to action
As you can see, there is A LOT of information from any one energy center, and even any one gate in the bodygraph! Let the information sink in slowly, and always come back to following your strategy and authority when it feels overwhelming!
