As we've talked about before (link to root center), the Root center, the very bottom square in the Bodygraph is a "pressure" center. It creates a pressurized, adrenalized energy to be moving, going, DOING.
The WAY that this energy expresses through you depends on your DEFINITION (the center and the lines/gates coming off of the center).
Those areas colored in are those that you are meant to experience CONSISTENTLY in this lifetime. They are the stable energies that you consistently work with.
The areas that are white/undefined for you are the areas that you are meant to become wise about; you can experience the FULL range of energy there.
As we begin to talk about the gates in depth, I find it helpful to think of them less as "static" energy and more as a dynamic, buzzing energy that you are plugged into. The energy is malleable; while it cannot be taken away, it can TRANSFORM into something else.
Left unaware, these frequencies take on that of the collective, which, tends to be lower expressions of fear, lack, scarcity, and victimhood. But brought into the light of awareness, they can be shifted into gifts and even expressed as PURE ESSENCE. THAT is the work. THAT is the journey with your human design.
Gate 19: Releasing Your Inner Healer
Gate 19 brings with it a highly sensitive energy. Those with this gate defined may find that their senses feel heightened; you can sense the difference in sheets, clothing fabric, different brands of the same food, etc. On the energetic plane, you can sense changes in energy. This can show up as an almost psychic ability to be able to tap into the needs of others, including the animal kingdom.
Left unexamined, this can create a tendency for co-dependency. You may take action with the intent to have others "need" you so you feel needed and wanted. On the flip side, you may proudly proclaim that you are independent and that you don't need anyone or anything (as a way of controlling the pain of rejection). The victim mentality here is that you are a slave to the needs of others. The deep fear here is that you MUST make yourself fit into the tribe or you will be outcasted and die. This creates the belief that the power is somewhere outside of yourself, that you are at the mercy of external forces.
Recognizing where this belief is operating in your life is the first step into transformation. Next is to TAKE CARE OF YOUR OWN NEEDS FIRST. Recognize how sensitivity shows up in your life. How can you honor it? Nurture it like a plant and watch its strength grow! As you do this, you strengthen your own energy field and can begin to hold the space for experiencing the energy of others without being totally overtaken by it. In this way, you have the power to become a very potent seer and healer. You have the ability to reach into the future and draw it down into the present to help the world adapt and adjust.
Continue to recognize where your intentions are, and turn your sensitivity and compassion toward yourself; realize that in caring for yourself, you care for all beings on some level. Let this love naturally outpour into the world to create the healing that only you can bring.
